While Safari re-loads every window after navigating away to open a new window, the Atomic Web tabs stay live and keep you productive instead of wasting time refreshing a page. Here’s the killer part of the Atomic Web app: tabs stay awake and in memory. Here’s some background on these cheap and helpful iPad apps.Ītomic Web ($.99) is a fully featured web browser that provides tabbed browsing, spoofing of browser type, private mode, font size changing, ad blocking, full screen and even multi-touch navigation (which is a bit tricky). But two App Store offerings - called Atomic Web and Split Screen - provide the type of functionality I’ve been seeking. Since I got my iPad, I found blogging on the tablet to be a clunky two-step process because of Safari and WordPress limitations. I’m always on the prowl for applications that deliver ease of use while improving my blogging productivity. ![]()
